Fashion Comes and Goes... and then comes back again...
Does the grey dress on the right look familiar? I bet you would guess they are made by the same person. Not at all.. The dress on the left is an original Christian Dior dress made for the Spring/Summer 1950 collection, currently housed at the MET. And of course the one on the left worn by Sarah Jessica Parker in Sex & the City in the episode 'An American girl in Paris (Part Une) is by Jill Stuart.

I always enjoyed learning small facts about things and I had the idea of start sharing them here along with the photographs, starting today:
